A West Chester construction company was selected for a $3.4 million project to upgrade parking at Dayton International Airport, the Dayton Business Journal reported.

Sunesis Construction Co. was selected to perform the work, which includes rebuilding the existing credit card parking lot, building a new entrance road to another lot and widening a section of Terminal Drive. Sunesis also will install a new batch of signs that will make it easier for passengers to find their way.

Dayton City Commission is scheduled to vote on approval of the contract Wednesday and the project is expected to take about seven months.
