A new West Chester development is expected to include 176 patio homes designed for empty nesters, the Enquirer reports.

Developer Epcon Communities is planning to build the Bel Haven development on a 75-acre site at the southeast corner of Tylersville and Beckett roads across from its nearly complete 85-home Villas at Park Place development.

Homes will range from 1,700 to 3,000 square feet with selling prices from $350,000 to $500,000. They will have two to three bedrooms and two to three bathrooms with optional second stories. Each home will have a private courtyard and 2.5-car garage with an optional screened-in porch.

A homeowners association will mow grass and shovel snow. Residents will also have access to a heated pool and clubhouse with a fitness center.

The development is expected to be completed in five phases over 18 months and construction could begin in late spring or early summer 2018.
