Cincinnati-based Contingent Network Services has acquired Tampa-based IVANS Network Services. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. IVANS Network Services will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary in Florida.

Revenue for the privately held, combined firm is expected to exceed $50 million annually, Contingent said.

“The IVANS culture, capability and client portfolio directly align with Contingent’s high-growth WAN managed services business,” Mark Stuhlreyer, Contingent president and CEO, said in a statement.

“While many traditional competitors are struggling with status quo approaches and often exit this business, we are increasing our commitment to delivering the highest quality network services available in the market.”

The company cited six consecutive annual appearances on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies.

Contingent was founded in 1984 as a fiber optic infrastructure services company. Today, it manages IT infrastructure including circuits, security appliances, routers, switches and wireless devices.
