In preparation for the opening of its new store in West Chester, Cabela’s is planning to hire about 200 new employees.

The company is now accepting online applications for positions in a variety of departments including hunting, camping, fishing, home and cabin, and customer service.

“We are looking to build a fun work environment with a knowledgeable and passionate staff,” said James Daugherty, general manager of the new store. “Customers visit Cabela’s for a unique experience and superior customer service, and this store will strive to offer both.”

The 82,000-square-foot store is expected to open off Exit 24 of Interstate 75 near Liberty Way in fall 2015. It will sell thousands of outdoor products and include a large mountain replica, museum-quality wildlife displays, an indoor archery range, deli, fudge shop, gun library and bargain cave along with a full-service boat shop and a selection of wildlife and land management products including tractors, attachments and implements.

Prospective employees should visit Cabela’s website and select the West Chester, Ohio location to apply for desired positions. Applicants will be contacted at a later date with further information.
