Butler, Warren companies win nearly $1M in federal contracts

A company in Butler County will receive up to $805,581 in contracts from federal agencies.

Howden North America, in Fairfield, won a federal contract valued at up to $673,975 from the Defense Logistics Agency for electric wire and power and distribution equipment.

It also won a $97,042 federal contract from the Defense Logistics Agency for vaneaxial fans and $34,564 federal contract for alternating current motors.

The company provides clients with industrial products that help multiple sectors improve their everyday processes; from mine ventilation and waste water treatment to heating and cooling.

Also getting federal money is:

  • CFM International Inc. in West Chester, which won a $110,044 federal contract from the Defense Logistics Agency for machine screws
  • Rhinestahl Corp. of Mason, which won a $37,664 federal contract from the Defense Logistics Agency for shrouds pullers

CFM is a 50/50 joint venture between GE Aviation and Safran. Rhinestahl is a precision and manufacturing company.
