UC Health Hematology Oncology has relocated and expanded its outpatient care and infusion services to the West Chester medical campus.

Officials say the new space at 7626 University Drive, ste. 201, next to West Chester Hospital, will allow the center to better service more patients from Northern Cincinnati.

“Physician input was considered in every aspect of developing the new space, from the physical design to patient flow and the overall ambiance,” said Dr. Tahir Latif, director of outpatient fusion services for UC Health University of Cincinnati Physicians.

“We are excited to offer the same robust portfolio of cancer clinical trials and multidisciplinary team approach to cancer care to all Greater Cincinnati patients, regardless of whether they live closer to the river or Dayton.”

The new facility will offer an expanded lab, providing on-site chemotherapy drug mixing, in-house bone marrow biopsies and the ability to perform several blood tests within minutes.

A remodeled treatment area includes 15 massage chairs for infusion services, complimentary iPad and Wifi access for patients, six clinical exam rooms and a conference room with audio-visual capabilities for family consultations and group meetings.

Physicians and staff are invited to tour the new facility from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22. For more information or to RSVP, call 513-475-8010
