West Chester's Primary Labor Pool
West Chester's strategic location in the heart of the Cincinnati-Dayton Metroplex provides companies access to an excellent primary labor market. West Chester's primary labor market, including Butler, Hamilton, Warren and Montgomery Counties, provides a labor pool of 1,000,000 workers and an excellent selection of professional, technical and manufacturing employees.
In fact, in an article published in World Trade Magazine, Greater Cincinnati was ranked the 4th highest U.S. city for high quality workforce. Moran, Stahl and Boyer, a major consulting firm, surveyed over 900 business executives to identify the best cities for global competitiveness. Cincinnati was the fourth choice in terms of high quality of labor force.
West Chester businesses also successfully recruit employees from our secondary labor market, including Clermont, Greene, and Preble Counties in Ohio, southeastern Indiana, and Northern Kentucky.
