As Cincinnati and Dayton continue to converge, West Chester is emerging as the economic center of the Cincinnati-Dayton Metroplex. This super-region, with two international airports, ranks 15th in the nation with a population of nearly 3 million. New Projects

Southeastern Butler County Workforce Academy, a partnership between Miami University, the West Chester Chamber Alliance and educational experts from Butler Tech, announced the creation of a new $2.5M economic development academy that will focus on helping businesses train employees. The new two-story building will be located at Cox and Tylersville Roads. The Academy will be housed in the finished lower level along with The West Chester Chamber Alliance who plans to move its corporate offices from Olde West Chester on Cincinnati-Dayton Road into this facility. People's Bank will be opening a new branch on the first floor of the building. Construction is scheduled to begin Summer 2003. Building occupancy is expected by early August 2005.
