As the three quotes above proclaim, West Chester continues to be recognized as a premiere business location in the Greater Cincinnati area.

Indeed, 1998 was another explosive year for economic development in West Chester, with significant development activity planned for 1999.

Over 3 million square feet of research and development, manufacturing, distribution, retail and office buildings were announced or started in West Chester during 1998. These projects included a 80,000 square foot manufacturing facility for General Electric, a 860,000 square foot office, distribution and retail facility for International Cornerstone Group, a 112,000 square foot Home Depot store, and a 295,000 square foot research and development building for Procter & Gamble's Manufacturing & Supply Technology Group.

1999 promises to bring significant additional development to the township, including numerous projects on the west side of the Union Centre Boulevard/I-75 Interchange. Highlighting the planned growth is the 500,000 square foot corporate office campus development by Walsh Higgins and Company from Chicago, with a spring 1999 groundbreaking schedule for the first 125,000 square foot Class A office building.
