Featured Project First full-service hospital to be built
West Chester Medical Center West Chester Medical Center - The Health Alliance broke ground on a 370,000 square foot full-service community hospital on a 29-acre site at the University Pointe Medical Campus off Cox Road. The 160-bed hospital opens late 2008 and will offer a wide array of surgical, outpatient and imaging services as well as a full-service emergency department. The $207 million facility will bring more than 800 new jobs to the community at the time of opening. Additional Projects AurGroup Financial Credit Union, a not-for-profit financial institution, announced in June 2006 a 3,600 square foot facility at 7560 Cox Lane in the University Pointe Medical Campus. This facility will feature expanded lobby services, three drive-up teller lanes, and a drive-up ATM. This will be the region's 5th AurGroup location. Completion is slated for early Spring 2007. AurGroup serves 23,000 members and manages over $153 million in assets. www.aurgroup.com
AurGroup Financial Credit Union Cricket, the operating subsidiary of Leap Wireless International, a customer-focused company providing mobile wireless services, announced in June 2006 a new 1,200 square foot building at 7590 Cox Lane in the Voice of America Centre district. www.mycricket.com Jungheinrich Lift Truck Corporation, a German-based company specializing in fork lifts and material handling equipment, opened a 9,600 square foot facility at 5585 Spellmire Drive off International Boulevard during June 2006. Pet City Suites, offering overnight boarding of animals, announced it is opening a 7,560 square foot facility at 9474 Princeton-Glendale Road/SR747 north of Muhlhauser Road in June 2006. Tires Delivered, online custom wheel and tire sales, announced a 4,200 square foot facility opened in June 2006 at 9641 Inter-Ocean Drive off Muhlhauser Road.
