Amkotron, Specializing in the repair and refurbishment of video displays, announced in January 2006 a 50,000 square foot expansion to its existing West Chester facility at 5468 Duff Drive off International Boulevard. This $4 million project will add 42 new jobs to the company's current 25 employees. AurGroup Financial Credit Union, a not-for-profit financial institution, announced in June 2006 a 3,600 square foot facility at 7560 Cox Lane in the University Pointe Medical Campus. This facility will feature expanded lobby services, three drive-up teller lanes, and a drive-up ATM. This will be the region's 5th AurGroup location. Completion is slated for early Spring 2007. Door To Door, a Seattle-based company specializing in moving and storage solutions, leased a 20,800 square foot facility at 8716 LeSaint Drive off Port Union Road in February 2006. Door To Door has over 2,000 locations nationwide and expects to open this facility mid-april 2006.

The 339,000 square foot store will be built on 56 acres along I-75 at the southeastern corner of Allen and Muhlhauser Roads (Union Centre Boulevard District). IKEA West Chester will feature three model homes, 50 display rooms, supervised children's play area, and 300-seat restaurant serving Swedish specialties. Construction will begin Fall 2006 on this $30+M project with an anticipated opening Fall 2007 with approximately 400 employees. IKEA plans to later sell approximately 6 acres for complementary retail and restaurant use.
