The store is expected to be open by March 2004. This will be the second location in the Cincinnati area and the sixth in Ohio.

Busken Bakery began construction in June 2003 on a new 5,469 square foot facility located at 9220 Allen Road at Union Centre Boulevard. The new bakery is expected to open in the Fall of 2003.

Butler County Clerk of Courts satellite office became a one-stop in August 2003. The West Chester satellite office on Smith Road just off of Princeton-Glendale Road became one of eight Ohio sites to offer deputy registrar and title services all in one office.

Carington Health Systems paid $1.6 million for a 20,000-square-foot, two-story Class B medical office building in April 2003 and will move its corporate offices to 8200 Beckett Park Drive.

CB's Hair & Nail Salon opened a new 1,282-square-foot facility at 9405 Cincinnati-Columbus Road in September 2003.

Century 21/Thacker & Associates, Inc.
Century 21/Thacker & Associates, Inc., leased a 1,805 square foot office facility at 4851 Wunnenberg Way in March 2003.

Chick-fil-A
Chick-fil-A, one of the largest private-owned restaurants in the nation, announced in December 2003 a new 4,152-square-foot Chick-fil-A will be located at 7733 Voice of America Centre Drive in the Voice of America Centre retail complex at Cox and Tylersville Roads. The stand-alone restaurant will be located between Panera Bread and Chipolte Mexican Grill.

Chico's
Chico's, a privte label women's retailer, announced plans to build a new 2,635-square-foot store at 9439 Civic Centre Boulevard in The Streets of West Chester Development Council. Construction is expected to begin in Summer 2003. Chico's operates 406 stores in the U.S., three of which are located in the Cincinnati area.

Chipotle Mexican Grill
Chipotle Mexican Grill announced plans to build a new restaurant at 7717 Voice of America Drive in the Voice of America Shopping Centre at Tylersville and Cox Roads. The 2,662-square-foot restaurant is expected to open October 2003.

Cincinnati International Teleport leased 575 square foot of office space in June 2003 at 8080 Beckett Center Drive, Suites 101 and 103, in Beckett Office Park off State Route 747.

Clark Insurance Brokers leased a 1,183 square foot facility at 9958 Crescent Park Drive in March 2003.

Coldstone Creamery
Coldstone Creamery announced in November 2003 it will open a new 1,500 square-foot ice cream store at 9437 Civic Centre Boulevard in the Streets of West Chester Development Council at Union Centre Boulevard and I-75. The creamery is expected to be open by March 2004. This will be the seventh store in the Cincinnati area and the twenty-fifth in Ohio.

Curves, a women's fitness center, announced February 2003 a new 1,980 square foot facility coming to 9536 Cincinnati-Columbus Road.

Fidelity Mortgage leased a 9,213-square-foot office facility at 9075 Centre Pointe Drive in the Centre Pointe Office Park during September 2003.

Fifth Third Bank
Fifth Third Bank announced in October 2003 it will build a 6,685-square-foot branch office at 8584 Princeton-Glendale Road just north of Union Centre Boulevard. This facility joins the other West Chester Branches at Union Centre Boulevard, Tylersville Road, and Cox Road, along with multiple retail banking centers.

Fifth Third Bank
Fifth Third Bank began construction on a new 4,100 square foot branch office at 7700 Cox Road in the University Pointe Campus development in the Summer of 2003.

First Financial Bank
First Financial Bank announced in April 2003 it will invest more than $5 million to open a new state-of-the-art hub office at 9120 Union Centre Boulevard. First Financial plans to begin work early 2004 on the 23,969 square-foot, three-story office building. It will occupy 75 percent of the building and house consumer banking operations, investment, trust, private banking, commercial and insurance operations. Pratt & Singer law firm will occupy a 2,500-square-foot office space in the building along with Stephenson & Warner accounting firm in a 2,000-square-foot space. Additional space designated for retail is available. The new branch will open in December 2004. Fifth Third Bank is the 8th oldest bank in the United States.

Flyer Factory leased a 312-square-foot office facility at 8050 Beckett Center Drive in Beckett Office Park during November 2003.

First Watch
First Watch announced plans in October 2003 to open a restaurant in the new Union Centre Retail Plaza on Floer Drive. The Plaza is being developed by Schumacher Dugan Construction Company.

Ice at the Streets
Ice at the Streets, an outdoor, family-oriented ice skating rink, will open November 1, 2003 at The Streets of West Chester located at I-75 and Union Centre Boulevard. The 60' X 90' outdoor rink will accommodate 30,000 skaters with space for up to 15,000 observers.

Johnson & Johnson leased a 3,278 square foot office facility in the Union Crossing office center at 7103 Hamilton-Mason Road in February 2003.

Jos. A. Banks
Jos. A. Banks, a men's clothing retailer, announced plans to open a new 4,021-square-foot store at 9440 Waterfront Drive in The Streets of West Chester Development Council. The store is expected to open October 2003. Jos. A. Banks' has been in business for nearly 100 years, has 160 stores nationwide with two of those locations in Cincinnati.

Marketplace of West Chester
Marketplace of West Chester, two new retail centers are being developed in the University Pointe Medical Campus at 7578 Cox Lane and 7594 Cox Lane. Building A is 9,600 square feet and Building B is 12,600 square feet. The retail centers are expected to open Spring 2004.

McAllister's Deli
McAllister's Deli announced in November 2003 it plans to open a new 3,850-square-foot restaurant at 7622 Cox Lane in the Marketplace of West Chester retail center in the University Pointe Medical Campus complex. McAlister's has 50 employees and is scheduled to open by June 2004.

McNay Equipment Company
McNay Equipment Company leased a 1,250-square-foot office facility at 7908 Cincinnati-Dayton Road in August 2003.

Mercedes-Benz
Mercedes-Benz, a luxury automobile dealership, announced it will begin construction on a 61,000 square foot building in June 2004. The dealership will be located on a 7.5 acre parcel just south of the Union Centre Boulevard/Muhlhauser Road intersection at 5897 Muhlhauser Road. Mercedes estimates its revenue at $30 million its first year. The project is being developed by Schumacher Dugan Construction Company. The dealership is expected to open Spring 2005 and will employ between 30 and 60 people.

Mobile Medical Staffing, a temporary staffing service of medical employees, leased an office facility at 9100 Centre Pointe Drive, Suite 260 in the Centre Pointe Office Park during December 2003.

Nova Systems Solutions
Nova Systems Solutions, a defense contractor that creates software for military radios, announced in May 2003 it will anchor a 15,000-square-foot office facility at 9928 Windisch Road, which is being built by K & W Development. Nova Systems Solutions is a spin-off of the West Chester-based Nova Engineering. The total project investment was $1,500,000 and 30 new jobs.

Pier 1 Imports announced plans to open a new 9,566-square-foot location at 7676 Voice of America Centre Drive in the Voice of America Centre at Tylersville and Cox Roads. The store is expected to open October 2003.

Planes Moving & Storage
Planes Moving & Storage will begin construction Fall 2003 on a 75,000-square-foot warehouse expansion of its existing facility at 9823 Cincinnati-Dayton Road.

PNC Bank
PNC Bank announced a new branch office will be built at 8620 North Pavilion Drive in the Union Centre Pavilion (Bigg's shopping center). The 3,495-square-foot branch will be located on the corner of the Union Centre Boulevard entrance to the center. Construction is expected to begin December 2003.

Procter & Gamble Beckett Ridge Institute/Future Home Labs
Procter & Gamble leased two 65,800 square foot buildings in West Chester Commerce Park on Beckett Road during 2003. One building is the Future Home Lab where focus groups are brought in to test P&G design package prototypes in their natural environment. The second 65,800-square-foot building houses the office space for the Future Home Lab employees. This is the third Procter & Gamble facility to open in West Chester Township.

Prodigy Title leased a 312 square foot office facility in June 2003 at 8080 Beckett Center Drive, Suite 121, in Beckett Office Park off State Route 747.

Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Spirits announced in April 2003 they are building a new 6,346-square-foot restaurant at 9434 Civic Centre Boulevard at The Streets of West Chester.

Sara Lee Foods leased a 1,232-square-foot administrative office facility at 7105 Hamilton-Mason Road in the Union Crossing office park during August 2003.

Schumacher Dugan
Schumacher Dugan Began construction in the Fall 2003 on Building 7, a new 41,515-square-foot multi-tenant office/warehouse building at 9669 Cincinnati-Dayton Road in the Schumacher Commerce Park. Tenants include Edy's Grand Ice Cream, Midwest Cheer, Performance Benefits Solutions, Meyer Flooring.

Scrapbook Central leased a 2,470 square foot facility at 9405 Cincinnati-Columbus Road in March 2003.

Sharon's Hallmark
Hallmark announced plans in June 2003 to open a new 4,535-square-foot location at 7702 Voice of America Centre Drive in the Voice of America Shopping Centre at Cox and Tylersville Roads.

Shepherd Color Company
Shepherd Color Company announced in May 2003 a 4,237 square foot addition will be built to their existing 255,000 square foot multi-building campus at 4585 Dues Drive off of State Route 747.

Skatetown USA
Skatetown USA, formerly Golden Skates, announced plans to relocate to a 5.59-acre lot at Princeton-Glendale Road and Union Centre Boulevard behind the Union Centre Pavilion/Bigg's Shopping Center. Schumacher Dugan will begin construction of the 57,000-square-foot building in Spring 2003 with a completion date of October 11, 2003. The rink located at 8730 North Pavilion Drive will include two rinks to accommodate both roller skating and inline hockey. Skatetown invested $3 million in this project.

Slender Lady
Slender Lady, a national weight management organization, is opening a new 2,450-square-foot facility at 4848 Union Centre Pavilion Drive at Princeton-Glendale Road and Union Center Boulevard (Bigg's shopping center) in September 2003.

Smokey Bones BBQ & Grill
Smokey Bones BBQ & Grill, a casual dining restaurant, announced in November 2003 it will open a new 7,867-square-foot restaurant at 9484 Civic Centre Boulevard in the Streets of West Chester Development Council at Union Centre Boulevard and I-75.

Spa Gallery (The)
Spa Gallery, (The), a hot tub retailer, announced a 2,368 square foot addition to their existing facility located at 4790 Dues Drive. Construction will begin Spring 2003.

Strategic Wealth Designers
Strategic Wealth Designers celebrated its grand opening October 24, 2003 at its new facility on Union Centre Boulevard in the Lakota Professional Office Buildings.

Sugarcreek Packing Company
Sugarcreek Packing Company, a food service distributor, opened an 85,000-square-foot facility at 4585 Muhlhauser Road in April 2003. This is Sugarcreek's third Ohio plant in addition to their corporate office located in Washington Court House.

SunSpot Tanning Resort
SunSpot Tanning Resort leased a 2,480-square-foot facility at 7967 Cincinnati-Dayton Road between Tylersville Road and I-75 during October 2003.

Terango Flooring
Terango Flooring opened a new 7,320 square foot flooring company in June 2003 at 852 E. Crescentville Road.

Three Bond
Three Bond leased a 5,400 square foot facility in June 2003 at 6184 Schumacher Park Drive in the Schumacher Commerce Park.

Territory Ahead (The)
Territory Ahead (The) is opening a new 1,650 square foot clothing apparel store in the Frontgage Catalog Outlet at 8939 Union Centre Boulevard in February 2003.

Tuesday Morning
Tuesday Morning, a national chain specializing in designer closeouts on housewares, toys and gifts, signed a lease in June 2003 on a 7,800 square foot retail space at 4902 Union Centre Pavilion Drive in the Union Centre Pavilion Shopping Center anchored by Bigg's.

Twin Dragon Chinese Buffet and Grill
Twin Dragon Chinese Buffet and Grill opened a new 8,171-square-foot restaurant at 7763 Tylersville Road near Cox Road in September 2003.

United Dairy Farmers
United Dairy Farmers announced plans to build a new store on an outlot at the Voice of America Centre located at Tylersville and Cox Roads. The new location is expected to open October 2003.

University of Phoenix
University of Phoenix leased a 20,000-square-foot office facility at 9050 Centre Pointe Drive in the Centre Pointe Office Park during September 2003. The University plans to open its school in February 2004. Phoenix's Union Centre site will include 12 classrooms.

University Pointe Surgical Hospital
University Pointe Surgical Hospital, the tri-state's first short-stay hospital, broke ground in Spring 2003 on a $12.6 million facility at the University Pointe campus off Cox Road at 7750 University Court. the 28,068 square foot hospital, developed as a joint venture between the Health Alliance and UC Physicians, will employ 25, house 4 operating rooms, ambulatory surgery, 8 inpatient surgery rooms, endoscopes, pain management, surgical prep and recovery. The Health Alliance includes Christ, Fort Hamilton, Jewish, St. Luke and University Hospitals. The hospital is scheduled to open September 1, 2004.

Uptown Coffee
Uptown Coffee announced in November 2003 it plans to open a new 1,200 square-foot coffee shop in the Marketplace of West Chester retail center at 7578 Cox Lane in the University Pointe Medical Campus complex.

U.S. Bank
U.S. Bank announced in November 2003 a new 5,000-square-foot branch office will be a part of a 34,000 square foot, two-story complex built as part of the first phase in the new West Chester Towne Centre Development on the north side of Union Centre Boulevard west of Muhlhauser Road. The building will be owned by the law firm of Coley & Associates who will also occupy a 3,998-square-foot office facility in the center. The U.S. Bank branch office opened its doors for business in November 2004.

Vacuums Unlimited
Vacuums Unlimited leased a 1,218-square-foot facility at 8100 Beckett Center Drive in Beckett Office Park during November 2003.

Vintage Title
Vintage Title leased a 312-square-foot office space at 8050 Beckett Center Drive in the Beckett Office Park in August 2003.

Volvo of Cincinnati
Volvo of Cincinnati, a luxury automobile dealership, began construction in September 2003 on a 17,503-square-foot dealership south of Union Centre Boulevard at 5890 Muhlhauser Road. Volvo offers new and used sales, leasing, and certified service and parts. Open 7 days a week.

Wal-Mart Supercenter
Wal-Mart Supercenter announced in 2003 it will relocate its existing store on Tylersville Road to a new 203,982-square-foot super center to 8288 Cincinnati-Dayton Road in Neyer Properties' 76-acre development at the northwest corner of I-75 and Cincinnati-Dayton Road. The Wal-Mart Supercenter is expected to open in 2005.

West Chester Towne Centre
West Chester Towne Center is a 25-acre outdoor, horseshoe-shaped retail center being developed by Schumacher Dugan Construction Company. The center will be located on the northwest corner of Muhlhauser Road and Union Centre Boulevard across from the Marriott Hotel. This development will include a mixture of retail and office space with on-street parking. The preliminary plan shows a 182,364-square-foot retail space, three outlots, approximately 890 parking spaces and 6.6 acres of open green space. Planned for the Centre Pointe Drive entrance is a fountain and park area with a clock tower and outdoor benches. Construction is expected to begin Spring 2004.

West Chester Village Retail
West Chester Village Retail began construction on a 4,633-square-foot building and a 24,840-square-foot building on Princeton-Glendale Road across from Beckett Office Park. As of October 2003, the retail centers are currently leasing.

Western Ohio Mortgage
Western Ohio Mortgage leased a 312 square foot office facility at 8080 Beckett Road in February 2003.

White Cat Galleries
White Cat Galleries leased a 1,540-square-foot facility at 8100 Beckett Center Drive in Beckett Office park during November 2003.

Winelco, Inc.
Winelco, Inc., leased a 19,700 square foot office facility at 6141 Centre Park Drive, Schumacher Commerce Park, in February. The total project investment was $550,000 and 25 new jobs were relocated to West Chester.
