All About Health Chiropractic, a new medical office, leased a facility on Lakota Drive West in Lakota Professional Office Building 2 during May 2002.
AMDG, Inc.
AMDG, Inc., a training school for railroad engineering students, signed a five-year contract to sublease 8,000 square feet of office space in the former Paper Plains Building at 9100 Princeton-Glendale Road. They will move into this facility March 2002 bringing 10 employees as well as new students each quarter. Murray Realty Associates of West Chester is responsible for bringing us this new employer.
Anixter
Anixter, a distributor of electrical parts, opened a 15,900 square foot facility on Global Way from ProLogis in May 2002. Anixter brings with them 25 full-time employees.
Anthem
Anthem announced in August 2002 it will lease a 15,300 square foot office space from Colliers International in Phase III of Centre Pointe Office Park. Anthem brings with them 50 full-time employees.

Approved Mortgage opened a new office at 8050 Beckett Center Drive in December 2002.

Barnes & Noble Booksellers
Barnes & Noble Booksellers announced in 2002 a new 25,200 square foot bookstore and café to be built at 9455 Civic Centre Boulevard in The Streets of West Chester Development Council. The store is expected to open March 2004.
Beckett Ridge Family Medicine
Beckett Ridge Family Medicine announced they will began construction on a new 9,680 square foot medical services facility at 4870 Wunnenberg Way off Princeton-Glendale Road in December 2002. This facility will be shared by two additional tenants which will be announced at a later date.
Beckmark, Inc.
Beckmart, Inc. began construction on a new 15,350 square foot office building located at 7107 Hamilton-Mason Road in Fall 2002. The facility is expected to open Spring 2003.
Besse Medical Supply
Besse Medical Supply, administration and sales office for medical office supplies, signed a lease for 11,700 square feet of office space in Centre Pointe Office Park during May 2002. Besse Brings with them 80 full-time employees.
Bethart Printing Services
Bethart Printing Services, a full-service print and design house, combined its West Chester and Fairfield stores in June of 2002 into a 14,000 square foot superstore at Union Centre Pavilion (Bigg's Shopping Center).
Big Dog's Pizza
Big Dog's Pizza opened a new restaurant at 7967 Cincinnati-Dayton Road in November 2002.
BLS Trucking
BLS Trucking, commercial trucking service, moved into a 17,250 square foot facility at 9954 Princeton-Glendale Road in May 2002.
Bravo Cucina Italiana
Bravo Cucina Italiana will open a new 7,797 square foot restaurant at 9436 Waterfront Drive in The Streets of West Chester Development Council on July 15, 2003. Bravo will seat 200 indoors and another 40 outdoors in its Italian-style courtyard.
Buffalo Wild Wings
Buffalo Wild Wings, casual dining and sports bar, opened on Schulze Drive in the Union Centre District during Spring 2002.
Buten, Inc.
Buten, Inc. opened an 1,428 square foot facility for their CarX headquarters on 4851 Wunnenberg Way in the Union Centre Boulevard area July 2002.
Canada Life Assurance Company
Canada Life Assurance Company leased a 1,765 square foot office space at 9050 Centre Pointe Drive in the Centre Pointe Office Park in November 2002.

Cars-R-Us, a used car automobile dealership, opened a new facility at 9253 Cincinnati-Columbus Road in June 2002.
CarX
CarX, an automotive service center, is opening up shop at State Route 747 and Union Centre Boulevard in May of 2002.
CBS Personnel Service
CBS Personnel Service, a temporary employment agency, opened a new 1,758 square foot office at 10156 Princeton-Glendale Road in December 2002.
Centre Pointe Office Park Building 3
Centre Pointe Office Park Building 3 began leasing space in this 120,000 square feet of Class A office building in May 2002.
Champps Sports Bar & Restaurant
Champps Sports Bar & Restaurant, a casual dining and sports bar, will begin construction on a 9,875 square foot restaurant in Spring 2003 at 9424 Civic Centre Boulevard in The Streets of West Chester with an anticipated opening date of Summer 2003.
Cincinnati Black Oxide
Cincinnati Black Oxide, a metal finishing company, began construction on a new 10,800 office and storage facility at 4510 Muhlhauser Road in March 2002. Cincinnati Black Oxide brings with them 12 full-time employees. The facility is expected to open Summer 2003.
Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center
Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center leased a 6,198 square foot office at 7700 University Court in the University Pointe Medical Campus. The outpatient services facility opened February 5, 2003. Cincinnati Children's will provide services for teens and children in a variety of specialty areas including genetics, neurosurgery, audiology and a special center for infants and children with special needs.
Cincinnati Enquirer
Cincinnati Enquirer, Tri-County Bureau, moved to its new location on Service Center Drive in Beacon Pointe off Cox Road in April 2002. The Enquirer houses 8 full-time employees at this location.

Cincinnati Islamic Center school expansion planned for Plantation Drive facility in May 2002.
Clark Theders Insurance
Clark Theders Insurance announced in December 2002 it will begin construction on a new 8,283 square foot office building located at 9954 Crescent Park Drive.

CMC Properties announced in November 2002 they began construction on a new 13,860 square foot office building at 8100 Beckett Center Drive with an expected completion date of Summer 2003.

Dented Silo Pub, casual pub and pizzeria, opened for business on Tylersville Road in April 2002.
Dialysis Clinic, Inc.
Dialysis Clinic, Inc., a nonprofit outpatient dialysis center, is opening a new 9,600 square foot facility at 7650 University Drive in the University Pointe Medical Office Building in May 2003.
Dittman Adams
Dittman Adams, a distributor of confections, juices and cigarettes moved into their new 40,000 square foot location at 4946 Rialto Road January 2002. Dittman Adams brings with them 80 full-time employees.

Dollar General, discount retailer, opened for business on Cox Road in May 2002.
Drake Center Therapies at University Pointe
Drake Center Therapies at University Pointe, a $39 million dollar nonprofit rehabilitation hospital, opened a 41,110 square-foot satellite center for physical, occupational and speech therapies at the University Pointe Medical Campus in January 2003.
Edible Creations
Edible Creations, custom baked goods and homemade candies, 8404 Princeton-Glendale Road at Shepherd Farms, opened in June 2002.
Estep Automotive
Estep automotive opened a new 1,600 square foot automotive repair facility at 9138 Cox Road in June 2002.
Federated Department Stores
Federated Department Stores credit card facility, leased a 106,000 square foot office space at 9249 Meridian Way in Duke's World Park at Union Centre during March 2002. Duke brings with them 164 full-time employees.
Fratelli's Pizzeria
Fratelli's Pizzeria announced in December 2002 a new 3,300 square foot restaurant to be located at 6890 Tylersville Road.
Glazer's Distribution
Glazer's Distribution opened a 12,000 square foot distribution facility at 9880 Windisch Road in July 2002. Glazer's brings with them 75 full-time employees.
Global Innovations
Global Innovations, a provider of marketing materials for school fundraisers, signed a five year lease on the former Paper Plains Building at 9901 Princeton-Glendale Road. In May of 2002, Global Innovations will move their Springboro marketing, sales and administrative offices to this 225,000 s.f. facility on 20 acres of land. Their warehouse operations previously moved to this new location in December of 2001. The entire move will bring 125 new jobs to Township. This project was made possible by Murray Realty Associates of West Chester.
Gold Star Chili
Gold Star Chili opened a newly renovated restaurant at 7659 Tylersville Road in April 2002.
Henry M. Wood Company
Henry M. Wood Company opened a new 4,000 square foot facility at 9774 Windisch Road in November 2002.
Highland Door & Frame, Inc.
Highland Door & Frame, Inc., a manufacturer of hollow, metal, and wood doors and frames with in-house custom fabrication, opened for business at 9372 Sutton Place in April 2002.
Highlands
Highlands, a 75-acre mixed-use retail development, is being developed on Cincinnati-Dayton Road at Interstate 75. The development will be anchored by a Wal-Mart Supercenter, which will be visible from the newly rebuilt Cincinnati-Dayton Road interchange. Traditional outlots are available along Cincinnati-Dayton Road with interior lots ranging from 2 to 20 acres or more. The project will be served by signalized intersections allowing easy ingress/egress. Neyer Properties is the developer for this project.
Home Technologies
Home Technologies designs, manufactures and installs user-friendly home automation systems, leased a 5,616 square foot facility in Lakota West Professional Building 1 on Union Centre Boulevard in May 2002. This location has a fully-automated home showroom to demonstrate home automation and management systems that allow for central control of all home functions.
Howell Rehabilitation
Howell Rehabilitation opened a new 4,916 square foot medical service facility at 8746 Union Centre Boulevard in June 2002.
Huff Home Mortgage
Huff Home Mortgage, mortgage services, leased 312 square feet of office space in Beckett Office Park during May 2002.
Human Capital Solutions
Human Capital Solutions, recruiting and consulting firm, leased 460 square feet of office space in Beckett Office Park during May 2002.
Huntington Bank
Huntington Bank broke ground in October 2002 on a new 4,153 square foot branch located at 7634 Cox Lane in the University Pointe Medical Office Campus being developed by UC Physicians and Miller Valentine. Plans are also being developed for a Huntington branch to be located on Union Centre Boulevad with an anticipated opening date of Spring 2003.

Integrity Development opened an office at 8050 Beckett Center Drive in December 2002.
Interiors By Design
Interiors By Design, custom design house, relocated to a new 5,500 square foot showroom facility at 6942 Tylersville Road in May 2002.
Jag's Steak and Seafood
Jag's Steak & Seafood, an upscale steak and seafood restaurant with a country club atmosphere and featuring a piano lounge, broke ground at their Lakota Drive West and West Chester Road location in May 2002. The $3.5 million project opened January 2003.
Junior Achievement of Greater Butler County
Junior Achievement of Greater Butler County opened a regional headquarters for the largest business and economic not-for-profit education organization in the world on Allen Road in June 2002.
K & W Development
K & W Development, a West Chester building and leasing firm, plans to break ground on 300,000 square feet of office/warehouse buildings in Spring 2002. This project being constructed on Windisch Road will represent $12 million in new construction. K & W Development recently spent $1.2 million to buy the former building which housed the Overhead Door Company, a 37,000 square foot facility on Crescentville Road. They began remodeling this building in Spring of 2002 into a multi-tenant facility offering spaces between 4,000 and 15,000 square feet.
Kiosk Concepts
Kiosk Concepts opened a new 3,660 square foot facility at 856 E. Crescentville Road in December 2002.
Kohl's Department Store
Kohl's Department Store began a 20,000 square foot expansion to their existing facility on Tylersville Road in January 2002.
Kroger Company
Kroger Company is expanding its existing location at Beckett Road and State Route 747 by 15,000 square feet. The project began construction in March 2002 and is expected to be complete by November 2002. The total Kroger facility will be approximately 71,000 square feet.
Lakota Professional Office Building II
Lakota Professional Office Building II began leasing 20,000 square feet of office space, Union Center Boulevard at Lakota Drive West in April 2002.
LeBistros
LeBistros, fine dining, opened for business on Cincinnati-Columbus Road in May 2002.
Life Success Seminars
Life Success Seminars, a non-profit agency conducting executive motivational seminars, broke ground on its new headquarters at 9248 Princeton-Glendale Road in August 2002. The agency expects its 13,488 square foot building to be completed by Spring 2003. This project represents a $1.2M investment and brings with it 5 full-time employees.
Lincoln Eastern Management
Lincoln Eastern Management, residential property management, leased 312 square feet of office space during May 2002 in Beckett Office Park.
Lloyd's Hardwood Floors
Lloyd's Hardwood Floors opened a 1,250 square foot facility at 8647 Cincinnati-Columbus Road in November 2002.
Manino's
Manino's, a full service restaurant, opened for business in April 2002 at Union Centre Pavilion (Bigg's Shopping Center).
Maria Bonita Authentic Mexican Cuisine
Maria Bonita Authentic Mexican Cuisine opened a new 2,336 square foot restaurant at 9104 Cox Road in November 2002.
Marubeni Itochu Steel
Marubeni Itochu Steel relocated their corporate headquarters to a 4,500 square foot office space at 9050 Centre Pointe Drive during March 2002.
Meineke Muffler Shop
Meineke Muffler Shop, specializing in Automotive muffler repair, opened a new 4,533 square foot facility at 9339 Princeton-Glendale Road in June 2002.
Metlife
Metlife opened a 624 square foot office at 8050 Beckett Center Drive in November 2002.
Miami University
Miami University plans are currently under design for a $5M learning center to be built on a 20-acre parcel at the Cox Road Voice of America Centre facility. Construction is scheduled to begin in Spring 2005. The Miami facility will be located next to the Butler Technology Career Development Schools and the Southeastern Butler County Chamber of Commerce.
Michael's Crafts
Michael's Crafts announced in December 2002 a new 23,563 square foot store will be built at 7642 Voice of America Centre Drive. The store is cheduled to open October 2003.
Midwest Filtration
Midwest Filtration, a manufacturer of engineered products for air and liquid filtration, consolidated its Fairfield facility and consolidated two other leased facilities into its new 95,928 square foot location at 9775 International Boulevard in Duke's World Park in June 2002. Midwest Filtration employs 65 and plans to add 25-30 new positions. Their new location is the former United Stationers building.
Millwood, Inc.
Millwood, Inc., opened a 62,180 square foot facility at 4438 Muhlhauser Road in November 2002.
Mitchell's Salon & Day Spa
Mitchell's Salon & Day Spa began construction on a new 20,756 square foot facility at 7795 University Court in the University Pointe Medical Campus in Fall 2002. The project is expected to be completed in Spring 2003.
Mitchell's Fish Market
Mitchell's Fish Market announced it will open a new 7,320 square foot restaurant during the Fall of 2003 at 9456 Waterfront Drive in The Streets of West Chester Development Council at Union Centre Boulevard and I-75. The atmosphere will be reminiscent of an upscale New England chowder house. Mitchell's will feature booth seating with a separate bar area and accommodate up to 225 guests.
Mullaney Medical
Mullaney Medical, retail medical supplies, opened for business on Cincinnati-Dayton Road during May 2002.
Nexus Engineering
Nexus Engineering, engineering firm, leased 585 square feet of office space in Beckett Office Park during May 2002.
North Side Bank & Trust
North Side Bank & Trust, the tri-state's 11th largest bank with $252 million in local deposits, began construction November 2002 on its first West Chester location at 8614 Shepherd Farm Drive off Union Centre Boulevard. This will be a 2,800 square foot branch featuring three drive-thru lanes, an ATM and a night depository. The expected completion date is Spring 2003.
Paige's Rock Bottom Pet & Bait
Paige's Rock Bottom Pet & Bait opened a new 4,872 square foot store at 4872 Union Centre Pavilion Drive in the Union Centre Pavilion in November 2002.
Partitions Plus
Partitions Plus opened a new facility at 8050 Beckett Center Drive in December 2002.
Pavetech International
Pavetech International opened a 21,555 square foot facility at 9536 Glades Drive in November 2002.
Pediatric Care
Pediatric Care, a medical services facility, opened for business in Lakota Professional Office Building 1 on Union Centre Boulevard at Lakota Drive West in May 2002.
People's Community Bank
People's Community Bank announced a 18,160-square-foot branch office will be built at 7615 Voice of America Centre Drive in the Voice of America Shopping Centre. The new two-story building will be erected at the northeast corner of Cox and Tylersville Roads. The bank building is People's second West Chester location since moving its corporate headquarters to West Chester Road, Union Centre area, in 2001. Construction is scheduled to begin Summer 2003. People's will be sharing the building with the Southeastern Butler County Chamber of Commerce and the Southeastern Butler County Workforce Academy.
Performance Plus Corvettes
Performance Plus Corvettes, new and vintage corvettes, opened for business in May 2002 on Princeton-Glendale Road.
Pierre Foods
Pierre Foods, America's leading premium sandwich manufacturer, has announced a $17.8 million expansion of its West Chester facility and the addition of 120 jobs. Pierre produces an extensive variety of sandwiches, entrees and snacks for national restaurants and school districts, including the nationally popular "Big AzTM" brand of giant-size sandwiches and hoagies. Visit www.pierrefoods.com. To meet increasing market demand, Pierre plans to expand its Princeton-Glendale Road facility by 23,000 sq. ft. and install high-tech machinery and equipment. Pierre, one of West Chester's five largest employers, will increase employment to 870. Pierre is considered an industry leader in workforce development, production technology and food safety. The company has been recognized by Ohio with the Governor's Workforce Excellence Award for employee training and development programs. Pierre is among the 10% of USDA meat plants to attain Total Quality Control Certification, which means the company voluntarily exceeds federal quality requirements. Pierre is owned by Fresh Foods Inc., North Carolina.
Procare Automotive Services
Procare Automotive Services announced in November 2002 it will begin construction on a new 4,877 square foot service center at 5900 Muhlhauser Road. The facility is expected to open Summer 2003.
ProScan MRI
ProScan MRI, a medical service office, opened a new 2,754 square foot facility at 7307 Tylers Corner Road in June 2002.
Provident Bank
Provident Bank is constructing a new 3,000 s.f. facility on a one-acre outlot at 8671 North Pavilion Drive in Union Centre Pavilion (Bigg's Shopping Center). Main access to this facility will be on Princeton-Glendale Road. Construction will begin Fall 2003.
Pusser's
Pusser's, a Carribbean-themed restaurant based in the British Virgin Islands, opened a new 8,400-square-foot location at 9040 Centre Pointe Drive in the West Chester Towne Center development at Union Centre Boulevard and Muhlhauser Road. Pusser's opened October 2004. The West Chester Township location will be the sixth restaurant in the chain, but the first in the Ohio area.
Rave Movie Theater
Rave Movie Theater, a privately-owned, Dallas-based company, announced an 18-screen, 79,330 square foot, 4,100 seat deluxe movie theater signed a deal with Continental Real Estate to locate in The Streets of West Chester at Union Centre Boulevard and Interstate 75. Construction began August 2002 with the grand opening scheduled for June 27, 2003. The Rave Movie Theater features wall-to-wall screens, a large lobby with state-of-the-art video games, digital surround sound, and a party room.
Rite Rug Company, Inc.
Rite Rug Company, Inc. is opening a new 11,604 square foot facility at 8946 Global Way in August 2002.
Rite Track Equipment
Rite Track Equipment announced in December 2002 it will begin construction on a new 8,370 square foot addition to its existing tech facility at 8655 Rite Track Way. The addition is expected to be completed by Fall 2003.
Rock-Tenn Co.
Rock-Tenn Co., a packaging and paperboard company based in Georgia, signed a long-term lease with Duke Realty for 105,000 square feet at World Park at Union Centre Building 9 on Meridian Way beginning May 2002. Rock-Tenn is one of North America's leading manufacturers of packaging, recycled paperboard and laminated paperboard products, running 75 international manufacturing facilities. The World Park at Union Centre facility will be a new assembly and packaging operation, combined with a 6,000 square foot design office currently being relocated from Mason. The company employs 25 locally and is now hiring with plans to have as many as 200 employees running 2 shifts at the new location. Rock-Tenn's lease includes options for expansion throughout the 317,000 square foot building.
Ruby Tuesday
Ruby Tuesday has announced plans to build a 6,870 square foot restaurant at 7701 Voice of America Drive at the Voice of America Centre at Tylersville and Cox Roads. The restaurant is expected to open in October 2003.
Ryan Homes
Ryan Homes opened a new location at 9850 Windisch Road in November 2002.
Scotts Lawn Care
Scotts Lawn Care, lawn service, opened for business on Cincinnati-Dayton Road in May 2002.
Searchmark, Inc.
Searchmark, Inc., recruiting services, leased 150 square feet of office space during May 2002 in Beckett Office Park.
Shaw Contract Flooring, Inc.
Shaw Contract Flooring, Inc., opened a new 19,800 square foot facility at 8930 Global Way in November 2002.

Shaw Industries, a floor coverings distributor, relocated to a 54,000 square foot warehouse/distribution center on Muhlhauser Road along with a 20,000 square foot office on Global Way.
Siam Bistro
Siam Bistro opened a new 2,732 square foot restaurant at 9292 Cincinnati-Columbus Road in November 2002.
SimplexGrinnel
SimplexGrinnel, a fire protections and security services company, signed a $1.3 million lease deal with North Ridge Realty in January 2002. SimplexGrinnel relocated into 25,333 square feet of the 71,400 square foot former CVS call center facility in Union Centre Commerce Park on Beckett Road. They brought between 60-80 jobs to West Chester and may expand up to 100.
Skyline Chili
Skyline Chili constructed a new location in North Ridge Realty's West Chester Centre at the intersection of West Chester Road and Lakota Drive West. The 29,021 square foot restaurant broke ground in February 2002 and is expected to open for business in August 2002. The estimated construction value of this project is $155,000.
Smurfit-Stone Container
Smurfit-Stone Container, located at 5404 Duff Drive, expanded its existing container facility by 26,225 square feet in June 2002.
Solutions Hair & Nail Salon
Solutions Hair & Nail Salon, beauty salon, opened on Cincinnati-Columbus Road in May 2002.
SOS Metals, Inc.
SOS Metals, Inc., relocated their corporate headquarters in January 2002 leasing a 19,530 square foot office space from Colliers International in the Centre Pointe Office Park. SOS Metals, formerly known as Southwestern Ohio Steel, is a unit of Marubeni Itochu Steel of America.
Southeastern Butler County Workforce Academy
Southeastern Butler County Workforce Academy, a partnership between Miami University, the Southeastern Butler County Chamber of Commerce and educational experts from Butler Tech, announced the creation of a new $2.5M economic development academy that will focus on helping businesses train employees. The new two-story building will be located at Cox and Tylersville Roads. The Academy will be housed in the finished lower level along with The Southeastern Butler County Chamber of Commerce who plans to move its corporate offices from Olde West Chester on Cincinnati-Dayton Road into this facility. People's Bank will be opening a new branch on the first floor of the building. Construction is scheduled to begin Summer 2003.

Staybridge Suites, being developed by Hotel Development Services, LLC, broke ground on a new four-story hotel in May 2002 on Lakota West Drive. This 80,000 square foot building will have 117 suites and represent an $8 million dollar investment. Staybridge is expected to open Summer 2003.

Target
Target, a retail giant, announced plans in June 2002 to open a new store at the Voice of America Centre located at 7644 Voice of America Centre Drive, the northeast corner of Tylersville and Cox Roads. This 133,100 square foot facility is expected to open in July 2003.
TGI Friday's
TGI Friday's announced a new 9,114 square foot restaurant to be built at 7656 Cox Lane near the Voice of America Shopping Center. Friday's is expected to open in the Fall of 2003.
Three J's Wreckteck
Three J's Wreckteck, an automotive service company, is opening a new 8,000 square foot facility at 9019 Princeton-Glendale Road in August 2002.
Tire Discounters
Tire Discounters began construction in October 2002 on a new 5,280 square foot service facility at 8701 North Pavilion Drive in the Union Centre Pavilion (Bigg's shopping center) outlot. The facility is expected to open in Spring 2003.
United Industrial Piping
United Industrial Piping began construction on a 13,461 square foot addition to their existing piping facility at 9740 Near Drive in July 2002. United currently has approximately 40 full-time employees and will be adding 6 new positions. The project is expected to be completed by Spring 2003.
University Pointe Precision Radiotherapy
University Pointe Precision Radiotherapy, a medical facility focusing on the treatment of brain and solid organ tumors, is opening a new 11,600 square foot medical facility in May 2003 in the University Pointe Medical Building. This facility will house a Linear Accelerator used in the treatment of cancer. The project investment is $5.7 million. There will be four full-time employees at this location.
VistaWall Group
VistaWall Group, a glass and glazing distributor, opened a 19,200 square foot facility at 4434 Muhlhauser Road in January 2002. VistaWall brings with them 12 full-time employees.
VQ Corporation
VQ Corporation, biotech company and manufacturer of medical devices used by emergency response technicians, leased a new facility on Centre Park Drive in Schumacher Commerce Park during June 2002.
West Chester Billiards
West Chester Billiards expanded their facility in the West Chester Centre on West Chester Road by 1,866 square feet in July 2002.
West Chester Commerce Center Building 5
West Chester Commerce Center Building 5, a new 65,800 square foot office spec building being constructed by D.A. Development/North Ridge Realty on Beckett Road, broke ground in September 2002 with an expected completion date of November 2002.
West Chester Urgent Care
West Chester Urgent Care opened a new 3,741 square foot medical facility at 7345 Kingsgate Way in July 2002.
Win Place Or Show
Win Place Or Show, casual dining restaurant, opened for business on Cincinnati-Columus Road in May 2002.
World Gym
World Gym, fitness center, opened a new facility on Princeton-Glendale Road in Spring 2002.
